What is TON Square?

The name may be new, but the heart of the program remains the same.

TON Square funds community-led offline meetups and initiatives that support TON Society's goals. Whether it’s a cozy breakfast meetup with coffee and croissants or a full-scale regional event, TON Square is your go-to for turning ideas into action.

In 2024, our incredible community hosted over 100 events worldwide, bringing together more than 10,000 participants. In 2025, we’re looking to empower even more communities, launch more regional programs, and foster deeper connections within the TON ecosystem.

Introducing TON Regions: where local communities grow

What’s better than local meetups? Entire regions teaming up to create a more impactful event. TON Regions are unofficial local communities that bring the TON mission to life through grassroots initiatives.

Activists can apply with a 3-month development plan, reviewed and approved by TON Society. Once approved, it’s game on. Current TON Regions already lighting up the map include TON France, TON Japan, and TON Thailand.

How you can get involved

There’s more than one way to join the action:

1. Host a TON Breakfast

   Start small and build big. TON Breakfasts are informal gatherings where you can discuss ideas, collaborate, and connect. Plus, they’re eligible for funding—up to $500 per event. Learn how to start hosting TON Breakfasts in our detailed TON Breakfast guide.

2. Propose a TON Meetup

   Graduated from breakfasts? Apply to host a meetup and bring even more people together. Past events have ranged from tech workshops to cultural exchanges.

3. Join or start a TON Region

   Want to make an even bigger mark? Form your own TON Region or contribute to existing ones. TON Square provides resources to help your region grow and thrive.
