The Open League New Year edition has come to a close! We hope this unique season has brought you joy, excitement, and fresh insights. As a token of appreciation for your active participation and stellar performances, New Year gifts await teams and users.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate the incredible achievements of Season 7, which unfolded over 20 action-packed days.

Airdrop campaign results

Over the 20-day campaign, participants could explore 24 DeFi protocols and earn from a $1.5M reward pool. The results are in, and they’re nothing short of impressive:

  • 499,000 participation badges minted (x2 compared to last season!)
  • 5,962 wallets qualified for the airdrop (minimum points required: 45)
  • The average airdrop reward: $251
  • Min reward distributed: $10
  • Max reward distributed: $1000

It’s a true Christmas time - as must be the case, the Open League Santa delivered the Christmas gifts to all eligible wallets yesterday morning. Congratulations to all recipients!

DeFi League results

The competition in the DeFi League was fierce. Two squads (TVL and Volume) comprised 23 participants competing for a prize pool of $100,000 in marketing credits, audit coverage and airdrop for their users.

Here’s what they achieved: $11.3M in new TVL attracted (163% growth compared to last season!) and $161M in Volume generated (156% growth) in 20 days only.

Each squad received Adsgram credits as prizes from the $100K prize pool.

  • 1st place: $15K
  • 2nd place: $13K
  • 3rd place: $10K
  • 4th place: $7K
  • 5th place: $5K

In addition, we remember that teams that cross a $5M TVL threshold or a $50M volume threshold are eligible for smart contract audit coverage. We thus congratulate swap.coffee on achieving this impressive milestone—$125M in Volume in only 20 days of the competition!

Each participating team deserves praise for such great achievements, and the winning projects will hear from The Open League team to arrange the prizes very soon!
