The Open Network Foundation (TON Foundation), a non-profit organization supporting TON community, today announced the appointment of Mr. Martin Masser as its new Head of Growth, effective immediately.

Masser will spearhead TON Foundation’s global efforts to scale the adoption of TON Blockchain, with a particular focus on Telegram Mini Apps (TMAs), digital asset tokenization—including stickers, NFTs, and real-world assets (RWA)—and developer ecosystem growth.

Masser brings extensive experience in crypto and TON’s ecosystem. As the former Chief Business Development Officer at STON.fi, he played a key role in increasing the platform’s total value locked from $8 million to over $350 million. He is also a prominent and recognized voice within TON’s community, delivering keynotes and shaping conversations at major industry events including Web3 Summit, TON Gateway, and Zebu Live.

Delivering global adoption through Telegram

In his new role, Masser will be responsible for user acquisition strategies, building strategic partnerships, and activating grassroots communities to grow TON’s global presence. A key component of this strategy includes onboarding millions of users to TON through Telegram, the world’s sixth most downloaded app, and advancing support for developers and channel owners through tools, rewards, and promotional support.

Masser will oversee global user growth initiatives by designing and executing strategies to increase TON’s adoption among mainstream audiences, with Telegram as the primary distribution channel. His mandate includes strengthening TON’s Mini App ecosystem and supporting channel owners by enabling rewards for Telegram Stars, unlocking ad revenue opportunities, and delivering the technical and promotional resources needed to accelerate project success.

Driving strategic partnerships and regional growth

Masser will also lead efforts to expand TON Foundation’s presence in key markets, with a strong focus on the United States and Europe, forging strategic partnerships and ensuring localized growth strategies aligned with regional regulatory frameworks.

“In Martin, TON Foundation gains a proven growth leader with deep roots in TON’s ecosystem and a sharp instinct for community engagement,” said Max Crown, CEO of TON Foundation. “From scaling STON.fi to driving ecosystem adoption across continents, Martin has demonstrated an exceptional ability to turn vision into traction. With his leadership, we are confident that TON’s global momentum will scale new heights.”

“TON holds a special place in my heart. It’s one of the few ecosystems with massive potential and the infrastructure to realize that potential,” said Martin Masser, Head of Growth at TON Foundation. “I’m thrilled to step into this role at such a pivotal moment. I’m committed to helping connect the dots across the community and supporting developers and builders to unlock the next wave of growth and innovation on TON.”
