Truecoin is the MVP for True World, serving as a testing ground for game mechanics and user engagement. Built as a tap-to-earn game on Telegram, it lets players tap to win, complete challenges, and join clans for community events, all while earning rewards.

The in-game currency, Truecoin, can be traded for TRUE tokens, bridging Web2 and Web3 audiences. Players can also craft and trade NFTs in the marketplace or use them to generate income, with upcoming updates introducing village attacks, character creation, and skill upgrades for a deeper gameplay experience.

True World, on the other hand, is a much broader narrative. It’s a full-fledged metaverse with its own story and aesthetic. True World unites various gaming genres, social interactions, and economic mechanisms.

Truecoin has grown into a core element of True World. Could you share the story behind its creation and how it has developed from a simple tapping game into a multifaceted platform within the broader metaverse?

Truecoin was conceived as something more than just a simple tap-to-earn game. We understood user pain points from the start. Players needed a deeper and more engaging experience, and that’s exactly what we specialized in within our Web2 business.

Initially, Truecoin allowed players to earn in-game currency, but in its second phase, we expanded mechanics to include USDT earnings, RWA rewards, clans, world exploration, and city conquests.

Another crucial factor was that we already had over 2.5 million active Web2 players from our own gaming studio. The idea of developing a Web3 game based on our existing Web2 successes, integrating corporate business models, and onboarding traditional gamers into blockchain was once a distant dream—now a reality.

What are some of the challenges you experienced while planning for and developing Truecoin, and how did you and your team overcome them? Are there any lessons you can give to developers from your experience?

One of the biggest challenges was creating a sustainable game economy that balanced rewards and player engagement. We experimented with different token distribution models to prevent inflation and maintain the value of in-game assets.

Another major challenge was explaining the lore and mechanics of True World to users. We have over 45 AAA+ games, meaning 45+ unique worlds exist within True World. This was overwhelming for new players, so we had to simplify the mechanics, introduce an intuitive onboarding process, and guide users step by step.

Here’s what we learned along the way:

• Economy matters more than hype: Don’t chase short-term gains; build a sustainable model.
• Educate your users: Create an onboarding system if your mechanics are complex.
• Think about scalability: If your product grows quickly, ensure your infrastructure is flexible.

While earning coins by tapping may sound simple, True World introduces layers of strategic elements like clan management, NFT asset trading, and competitive events. Give us a practical example of how these work together to make the gameplay more interesting and fun.

True World combines the simplicity of clicking with strategic elements:

1. Team play & leaderboard system

Players can build clans and participate in daily competitions:

• The top-ranking team wins status cards, which provide special perks (monthly bonuses, discounts, exclusive NFTs).
• Status card tiers: The higher the rank, the more powerful the benefits.

2. Game economy & NFT assets

• NFT crafting system: Players collect resources and craft unique NFTs that enhance their gameplay.
• Real-world economy: Assets can be bought and sold for real money, making participation highly rewarding.

3. Gamification & engagement

To keep players engaged, we introduced a progressive motivation system:

• Missions & quests: Completing tasks unlocks new opportunities.
• Economic strategies: Players can invest resources, trade NFTs, and earn by analyzing the market.

4. Future updates: City conquests

A new gameplay layer is in development, allowing clans to conquer cities. This will introduce additional strategies and make the game even more competitive.

To encourage player engagement, three key factors must come together:

• Ability: Do they have the resources?
• Trigger: How do we remind them?

In what ways does Truecoin contribute to strengthening TON Blockchain’s ecosystem, and how do you see this evolving as more players and developers join the network?

Truecoin is crucial in expanding the TON ecosystem by creating high user activity and a sustainable in-game economy. Here’s how:

1. High transaction volume on TON

• In-game transactions are processed on TON, ensuring consistent demand for the network.
• TON is ideal for gaming microtransactions, thanks to its low fees and high speed.

2. Onboarding Web2 players into Web3

• Truecoin acts as a bridge between Web2 and Web3.
• Through gamification, users learn blockchain technologies and start using TON wallets seamlessly.
• Integration with TRUE Wallet simplifies asset and NFT management.

3. Attracting third-party developers

In the future, we plan to open the ecosystem to external developers, providing SDKs and tools to create new game mods, NFTs, and DeFi integrations.

What upcoming features or events can the Truecoin community look forward to?

We have several exciting updates on the horizon! We’re preparing to launch a Mystery Box event, where players can win high-value NFTs and larger token rewards. Additionally, we are working on a new clan battle system, which will introduce even more thrilling community competitions and collaborative gameplay.
