Today, we’re bringing you another interview from the Future Giants series, where we introduce you to teams you most likely have never heard of: teams building something big yet still flying under the radar.

In today’s episode, we interviewed GAMEE, a high-engagement mobile gaming platform focused on onboarding a mass gaming audience to Web3. Founded in 2015 and part of Animoca Brands since 2020, GAMEE has partnered with over 40 communities, including Mocaverse, Decentraland, Sandbox, and Cool Cats.

Their primary focus is its Telegram app and community, where users can earn WatPoints and crypto rewards.

This interview is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement, approval, or recommendation of the project. Hello GAMEE. Welcome to your premiere on TON Blockchain. Like every other project, let’s start with a brief introduction. What is GAMEE?

Hi! GAMEE is a Web3 gaming platform powered by our infrastructure token – $GMEE. And now we’re gearing up for the exciting launch of WATCoin on TON, under the watchful eye of the WatBird character. There have been various ways to earn WatPoints, with the most recent being the Wat Racer game.

Can you introduce us to your team? What’s your experience?

Sure! Our CEO, Martin Zakovec, runs the show alongside co-founders Bozena Rezab, Jan Castek, and Miroslav Chmelka. GAMEE has been around since 2015 – and we’ve also been building games on Telegram for six years!

You’re one of the oldest active gaming projects in Web3, yet frankly, you’re still flying under the radar, particularly within the TON Ecosystem, so your name might be completely new to our readers. Why do you think that is?

We’re one of the largest gaming platforms on Telegram, with 90M players. Whether we’re flying under the radar is debatable – we’ve already had over 4 million wallets collecting WatPoints on TON! We have 3.2M in our community and 3M daily players collecting WatPoints in Wat Racer. And the numbers keep on growing.

Can you share with us some data? Surely, you’ve accumulated impressive statistics over the years.

Right now, we currently average 3M DAUs on Telegram, a total player base of 90M, and have had well over 10 billion gameplays. We’ve also given away over $1 million in rewards!

What are GAMEE's main features and services? What does GAMEE offer to its players?

Everything is centered around the WatBird character, a degen bird that has taken on a life of its own! Telegram users can play our Wat Racer game to collect WatPoints and earn them by completing missions. Outside of Telegram, they can also earn WatPoints by staking $GMEE on Ethereum or holding partner blue-chip NFTs like Pudgy and Mocaverse.

What makes GAMEE different from its competitors? Let’s say I’m a Web3 player looking to try something new. Why should I give GAMEE a shot?

We’ve been around for a long time now, and we know what our community wants most. We are proud to say that our $WAT project is community-firs. Not only is WatBird and his project a fun way for Web2 users to get on board with Web3, but it also serves as a way to reward participants with a fully earned asset tied to WatBird’s Wat Racer game. The community loves the crazy WatBird character running the show and the regular community contests and giveaways!

What brought you to TON? It’s not your native chain, as your project has existed for over nine years now. What are TON’s advantages compared to other blockchains?

We see the potential that TON has in bringing about mass Web3 adoption. As a company that has always prided itself on introducing millions of players to the power of Web3, it’s a no-brainer that we should commit to a TON-based project. The fact that it is so simple to set up and use crypto on TON means the biggest hurdle that stops many from venturing into Web3 has been easily overcome.

There are rumors that you might be partnering with an unnamed successful TON project. Can you tell us more about this?

There isn’t one; there are many. We’ve recently partnered with Mocaverse to help boost their community numbers on Telegram, and last week we launched an initiative with Notcoin to reward $NOT holders with WatPoints. We’ve also recently collaborated with Yescoin to bring new WatPoint-earning missions to our players. And of course, more great collaborations are coming!

You’re working on a new game called Wat Racer. What’s the game about? Can you show us some screenshots or videos from the gameplay?

Wat Racer is now live! Players can now race to collect WatPoints in the game, as well as pink coins that allow them to boost their earning capacity and upgrade their vehicle. You start in a pretty slow and shoddy cart and can keep upgrading until you reach the ultra-fast golden lambo.

Can you tease some upcoming announcements that we haven’t mentioned yet?

We’ll leave the announcements to WatBird! He’s about to launch the WATCoin, and he has many great ideas up his sleeve (if birds have sleeves?). Follow him on Telegram.
