TON Is Coming to Ledger Hardware Wallets
As we’re nearing the end of the year, it’s a perfect time to review your security and audit your holdings. You should always go for the highest security standard while also keeping some usability; there’s no better solution than hardware wallets.
“We’re delighted to bring support to TON on Ledger Wallets,” says Carl Anderson, VP of Engineering at Ledger. “The Open Network and Ledger share similar values when it comes to the right to privacy and the commitment to giving everyone freedom of money. Now, TON users can ensure they have access to uncompromising security as well as privacy. With direct access to the Telegram ecosystem via TON, this partnership also benefits millions of Ledger users.”
Today, we’re excited to announce that you can now secure your Toncoin and other TON tokens on Ledger hardware wallets, giving you the confidence that the highest security standards protect your assets.
"The importance of asset security cannot be overstated, and with Ledger, we are bringing the highest security standards to the entire TON community. Leveraging the robust security framework of Ledger devices, which are renowned for their user-friendly interface, we are thrilled to introduce TON to the world of secure hardware storage. This strategic integration is not just a milestone for TON; it also encourages Ledger users to explore the dynamic and thriving TON Ecosystem with confidence and ease," said Anthony Tsivarev, Director of Ecosystem Development at TON Foundation.
This collaboration with Ledger confirms TON’s commitment to giving you absolute freedom of money and the best possible security. We’re one step closer to bringing TON to everyone’s pocket (don’t carry your Ledger in your pocket, please).
